DIY: 1st Birthday Cake Smash

Hey all!! I wanted to do a special post, dedicated to my little man, SYLAS ALEXANDER who just turned the big ONE (05/16)!!! I wanted to share some of his cake smash photos I did today. I made the giant cupcake-cake too woohoo... although I had a little hiccup during it.. like accidentally tipping it over after finishing decorating it… ugh.. but I went and got more frosting and re-decorated it… it all came out pretty well I'd say :) Professional photos are definitely worth it, but since I have a decent camera, I decided to do this one on my own. When you have a walking crazy monkey as a son, it is NOT as easy as Pinterest makes it seem!! But it was a lot of fun and a good experience.. that we are happy to not be doing again ;P 

I took so many and really had a hard time choosing which ones to post…
